  • Unlike other pre-med summer programs, FPA is taught by board-certified practicing physicians who collectively have decades of experience as medical school faculty and serving on medical school admissions committees. Thus, they are able to advise students on how best to stand out on their applications.

  • No, we teach you everything you need to know for statistical analysis of the data you collect in the clinical research course.

  • Housing is available on the UCF campus from June 2 to July 20, 2025. Housing is on a first come, first served basis, deadline March 15th, 2025. Housing cost is $450/week.

  • Yes, all students are published in medical journals as first authors.

  • FPA programs are selective, and are based on the following criteria:

    Aptitude- FPA programs course content is intellectually challenging. Our students’ academic profile is posted on our website.

    Attitude- we look for students who are motivated and eager to learn and contribute to the class via active participation.

    Stamina- The course content is taught at the college level. We do not water down the material.

  • We purposely cap our class size at 50, in order for each of the students to have enough personal attention from the instructors. Many of our students stay in touch well beyond camp time.

    Unlike other pre-med high school summer programs, we are an independent program, not owned by venture capitalists or private equity.

  • Yes, you may submit a teacher recommendation in lieu of scores.

  • FPA summer high school programs accept rising 9th-12th graders.

    FPA also offers mini-medical school and forensics & genetics programs for students who are rising 4-8th graders.

    We have a separate programs for college students.
